Rise-
A distant blue howl
outside the gates,
is the day drawn,
drawing me in empty
silouette opaque
to absorb in the light
-Rise

In the spirit's soft
worn a kiss gentle a'glow
traces of sensual
in a heart's smile
linger like an after-taste

Every hour, every mile, every day--
walk a little closer
to my own soul, the
closer I am to you
No matter how far away
you are, that small piece
of you always growing
inside of me

Rise-

outside the gates,

drawing me in empty
silouette opaque
to absorb in the light

Soul music, my old friend
heart given a river of sounds
scents borne in the wind
from the other side of life
are those mysteries too profound,
save to lend my own intricasies
is the simplest harmony--
I see the same old sun
I have seen so many times before;
I just have never seen it
as I do now

A whistle contained under
a green before my eye that only those
know me well enough can hear--
want is never to be in possession
of life's greatest moment,
but to chase it like a hound
that loves to hunt

A coin, for my hand to hold,
smooths within these fingertips.
Lips,pressed in excellence,
and steadfast loyality

speak of my fidelity
as an Ironhorse.
A vermillian heart
is laid bare, and open

next to your pure
pure flesh. In the wave,
tears are star-shaped
against uniform skies.

Dedication
is an embedment
on the point
of a promise. I believe

in creeds, earthed
in the ethos of my eyes,
as I look to you;
My example of how to be a warrior…
